Replacing your current Isabel card with IsaKey, is free of charge. Nothing changes to your current subscription.
You do not need to take any action yourself. Isabel Group itself will invite you to replace the Isabel card with IsaKey in the course of 2023 or 2024.
The invitation is visualised by a form when you log into Isabel 6 and you are asked to enter your delivery address.
Depending on the functionality the customer currently has, you will be invited early or late in the migration.
We will invite users per PKI contract at the same time. Most of you will be invited in 2024.
The invitation will show itself during logon in Isabel 6. You will be prompted to provide the delivery address.
All users in your subscription will be invited to order their IsaKey during 2023 or 2024.
A new user will still receive an Isabel card. After card activation and upon logging on to Isabel, this user will be invited to order his IsaKey.
Automatically, every user receives 1 IsaKey. It is currently not possible to order more than 1 Isakey per user. Use the Isabel card instead.
When the address message is not correctly treated on the Isabel Servers, the message will appear the next time you login.

2. Navigate to “Language” with the left button containing arrows and select OK
3. Navigate to the desired language with the left button containing arrows and select OK
To activate your IsaKey, follow the guidelines in the letter you received along with your IsaKey.

At this moment we will not inactivate your Isabel card. Both IsaKey and card can be used (as well as itsme).
Isabel Go, Offline Reporting, your banking or eGov application are not working with IsaKey yet. You will need your Isabel card for those applications.
No, if you continue using your Isabel card for your specific bank proprietary applications, Belgian government declarations or the optional Isabel 6 modules Isabel Go or Isabel Offline Reporting, do not remove the Security Components just yet.
You can continue to use itsme after you have activated IsaKey.
You need your Isabel SmartCard for the activation of your IsaKey and as such also the Isabel Security Components.
Be aware that after the activation of your IsaKey, you still need the Isabel card and components in case you use the following applications: Isabel Go, Offline Reporting, your banking, Telelink Off-line or eGov application
You will need to order a new Isabel card. It is currently not possible to activate a IsaKey any other way.
1. Press and hold the Power button until you see the settings menu.
2. Navigate to “Change PIN” with the left button containing arrows and select OK.

Tip: In many cases, the serial number of your IsaKey is needed to troubleshoot problems. This article shows you how to find the serial number of your IsaKey.
You will find the username / User id on your Isabel card or on your Isabel invoice. We therefore advise you to keep your Isabel card for a while.
If you lose your Isabel card or IsaKey, it is best to contact CardStop (+3278 170 170) as soon as possible to block your IsaKey in case of loss or theft.

1. Check if the batteries are properly inserted and not empty.
2. Remove the batteries for 2 minutes and then reinsert them.
3. Press the power button firmly
